UFF-UWF recently posted here and mailed nomination and election information to UFF-UWF members regarding the upcoming chapter elections. UFF-UWF has spoken to our state office, and to ensure safety of members and to subscribe to COVID-19 protocols, UFF-UWF is amending the nomination process to accept only emailed nominations and statements of willingness to serve. The email nomination and acceptance deadlines and procedures outlined in that message will remain unchanged, but the additional in-person nomination meeting is cancelled. Should positions be contested and an election be necessary, UFF-UWF will notify members and send out an additional mailing that defines a forthcoming election date if necessary.
