Nomination and Election Notice



Nominations for the offices of President, Vice President for Grievances, Vice-President for Bargaining, Secretary, Treasurer, Five (5) Senators, Two (2) FEA Delegates, and a Membership Officer, will be accepted from the floor at the March 2020 membership meeting at the date, time, and place indicated below. The term of office will run for two years beginning August 8, 2020. The candidate elected as President will also serve as a Senator to the UFF Senate.

Time: 11:30 a.m.
Place: College of Business Conference Room
Building 76/ Room 230

Nominations may also be made in writing and must be emailed to Dr. Ramie Gougeon at by March 25.  As provided in the Chapter Bylaws, any member who has paid dues through March 2020 and is in good standing is eligible to nominate candidates and run for office. Candidates must accept nomination at the nomination meeting or, if not in attendance, submit a written acceptance by email by March 26 to Dr. Ramie Gougeon at


The election of UFF-UWF Chapter officers will be conducted at the date, time, and place indicated below:

Date: Monday, March 30
Time: 8:45 a.m. – 10:45 a.m.
Place: Bld 22 – UWF University Commons
(in the area in front of the Commons Auditorium)

Any member who has paid dues through March 2020 prior to 5:00 p.m. on March 29, 2020 will be eligible to vote. Members will be asked to present a driver’s license or some other form of identification at the polls.
