NOMINATION AND ELECTION NOTICE
UNITED FACULTY OF FLORIDA-UNIVERSITY OF WEST FLORIDA CHAPTER
NOMINATIONS
Nominations for the offices of President, Vice President for Grievances, Vice-President for Bargaining, Secretary, Treasurer, Eight (8) Senators, Three (3) FEA Delegates, and a Membership Officer, will be accepted from the floor at the March 2024 membership meeting at the date, time, and place indicated below. The term of office will run for two years beginning August 8, 2024. The candidate elected as President will also serve as a Senator to the UFF Senate.

Place: Olympia Room – University Commons, Building 22/Rm 272
Nominations may also be made in writing and must be emailed to Chasidy Hobbs at chobbswka@gmail.comby March 14. As provided in the Chapter Bylaws, any member who has paid dues through March 2024 and is in good standing is eligible to nominate candidates and run for office. Candidates must accept nomination at the nomination meeting or, if not in attendance, submit a written acceptance by email by March 15 to Chasidy Hobbs at chobbswka@gmail.com.
ELECTION
The election of UFF-UWF Chapter officers will be conducted at the date, time, and place indicated below:
Date: Friday, March 22
Time: 8:45 AM – 10:45 AM
Place: Bld 22 – UWF University Commons (in the area in front of the Commons Auditorium)
Any member who has paid dues through March 2024 prior to 5:00 p.m. on March 21, 2024 will be eligible to vote. Members will be asked to present a driver’s license or some other form of identification at the polls.
